Dariusz Mińkowski
Dariusz Mińkowski has higher legal education. He graduated from the Faculty of Law and Administration at the University of Łódź where he became a master of law.
Professional work and specialisation
He was employed in the District Labour Inspectorate in Warsaw from 1 October 1998. He completed a course for candidates for labour inspectors in the National Labour Inspectorate’s Training Center in Wrocław with a very good result and was employed as a labour inspector from 25 May 2000. On 1 July 2005 Mr. Mińkowski was promoted to the position of a senior labour inspector and a year later obtained the title of a specialist in working time and remuneration issues. On 1 July 2006, Mr. Mińkowski was promoted to the position of a senior labour inspector – specialist. In his professional career, the highest number of inspections carried out by Mr. Mińkowski related to health care units, higher education facilities and central-level authorities.
From 22 January 2007 Mr. Mińkowski was acting as the Deputy District Labour Inspector for Legal and Organizational Matters at the DLI in Warsaw. He was appointed to that position on 1 January 2008 and held it until 30 November 2013.
Mr. Mińkowski was a member of the Legal Commission of the Chief Labour Inspector twice – in the period from 20 February 2009 to 20 July 2010 as well as from 1 June 2011 until 27 June 2014.
Between 1 August 2014 and 12 May 2016, Mr. Mińkowski was a member of the Appeal Disciplinary Commission of the Chief Labour Inspector. On 26 June 2015 he became a vice chairman of the aforesaid body. On 1 December 2016 he was appointed to the position of a principal labour inspector in the DLI in Warsaw.
For the exceptional performance of his professional duties resulting from the long-lasting work in the sphere of labour protection, for the benefit of the State, Mr. Mińkowski was awarded a Bronze Medal for Long-Lasting Service by the President of the Republic of Poland.
On 24 February 2017 the Speaker of the Lower Chamber of Parliament appointed Mr. Dariusz Mińkowski to the position of a deputy Chief Labour Inspector.
